“I’ve been going to this clinic since it opened and I visit every 4-6 weeks for routine foot care. I have found that the doctors are very friendly and professional and that is why I keep coming back time after time."
Denny from Minneapolis
"I'm 65 years old. I've had the toenail problem for roughly 20 years. Initially I didn't know what it was. I thought maybe I had injured my toenail by wearing hunting boots that were too small. I learned later that my problem was caused by a fungus. For many years, only my big toe on my right foot was affected, but a few years ago, my left big toe also became affected.
The problem has several consequences. It is very ugly which is a problem in the summer time, because I like to wear sandals without socks. I get a lot of comments like "ewe!" from my grandchildren and their friends, which is unpleasant and embarrassing. From time to time, there is also discomfort.....an aching sensation which makes it hard to sleep. I have had to throw away some of my shoes and buy new ones that have extra "toe room" to accomodate the thick nail on my right toe.
I've discussed this problem with doctors on at least three separate occasions over the years. The only treatment they told me about was a medication called Lamisil, and none of them recommended it, because of its poor success rate and potential side effects. Recently I asked my doctor about the Lazer procedure that has been advertised in the newspaper, but he told me he had no information about it. I have been stuck with this problem without any good alternatives to fix it.
It was a big surprise for me when you and I talked at the family Fathers Day picnic last month, and you told me about your new job and the new Lazer equipment that was being acquired by your employer. I am delighted to be offered a free trial. I am hopeful I will finally get rid of this problem."
